I made my first sale way back in 1963. No internet then, so it was a face to face sale B2B, worth (in today's money) around $30,000. Since then, I have been involved in direct marketing and, for the last eleven years or so on line as a behind-the-scenes copywriter for some top marketers and even other copywriters, including Ewan Chai, Simon Hodgkinson, Dean Jackson, Jeremy Gislason and Mike Sensing (for whom I won WSO of the Day and Deal of the Day). More recently I have begun to coach clients and will shortly be retiring from copywriting to focus entirely on coaching, creating more products (including my ‘Persuasion Black Ops’ copywriting training) and affiliate marketing. My first product (Camtasia Wizardry) was a simple WSO with no upsells. Nevertheless, it made one shrewd super affiliate nearly $5,000 in a matter of days. At one point it was converting at 19%.
