The latest edition of Black Friday in Spain billed 1,560 million in online purchases, with an average ticket of € 256 per consumer, a figure that represents 8% more than in 2017. There are many benefits that relate to the campaign, improvement of conversion rates and increase of customers among others, making it an unmissable event for any retailer. But more and more are the detractors of Black Friday accusing him as the maximum responsible for the general trade running out of Christmas, killing their margins and acquiring loyal customers who only buy for price. The trade is stopping generating a level of additional sales, being forced to sell the same in less time and in less margin. Black Friday was profitable a few years ago, and now?
