JV Announcement: the exact formula to $1,149,455 in sales (case-study)

These days a 6-figure launch isn’t as impressive as they once were..
However, once you get to the point where most of your launches are doing multi-6-figures easily… you’re doing something right.
So… below I’ll share exactly what made that happen for me – so you can apply it on your launches as well.
(For the record – it was thanks to these exact ingredients that most of my products did $500K+ in sales each).
So… here we go:
#1 An absolute KILLER product. For real – go the extra mile TIMES TEN. No matter how good your sales copy, packaging, bonuses, partners etc are.. Make sure people go “WOW” when they realize how much (long-term!) value you’re delivering.
Bonus tip: Create something that you’ll be using yourself on a daily basis. If that’s not the case, it’s usually not a good sign.
#2 Deliver the h-i-g-h-est EPCs possible. Getting affiliates to promote is fairly simple once they see your conversions are unlike any other promotion or launch that’s going on. Once again – go the extra mile (split-test, split-test, split-test). For example during our ZoSocial launch last year the average EPC (including junk traffic) was over $10. On close day it was over $20! I yet have to meet the affiliate who doesn’t like these kind of numbers.
Bonus tip: Don’t skim on split-testing. Go through the effort of creating multiple sales videos, just to get to the one that’ll convert best.
#3 Offer recurring revenue with 50% ongoing commissions. Besides the initial EPC, make sure that there’s a part of your funnel that’s recurring (and pay-out 50% of that to your affiliates). We’re still sending monthly checks to affiliates who promoted us 1,5 years ago – and they love us for it 🙂
Bonus tip: Onboard people into your recurring program (e.g. make them USE it as much as they can). It will lower your churn and make them stick around much, much longer – meaning more money in your & your affiliates’ pockets.
#4 Focus on the ULTIMATE experience. This is an important one. Stop thinking of your product as “just another product”. Instead consider it as a real brand and make it your life mission to provide the ultimate experience to everyone who’s involved. Customers want something that’s easy to use, provides results along with premium support. Affiliates want to feel safe knowing they’ll be doing their customers a favor promoting it (while banking big, obviously). Give them that experience – it’s the details that make a difference.
Bonus tip: Simple things like a wearing a $10 T-shirt (with your logo on it) already makes quite a difference to many.
