But wait, I’m not talking about pop ups in a traditional sense. You know, the ones that annoy the heck out of you. I’m talking about pop ups that show up in the same window as the original page, and can be customized in a variety of ways.

WP Alert Pop allows you to easily create a “tool tip” style pop up set to display anywhere around the perimeter of the page. You can set up as many as you’d like, and program as many as you’d like to show up on one page – even over a period of time.

Within this little pop up, you can insert anything from text, images, videos, all the way to call to actions and more. The possibilities are limitless when it comes to this.

You’re probably thinking “Alright, but the user may not notice these pop ups. What about that?”

Well, what’s awesome about this plugin is that you can set a notification sound to play whenever a popup is displayed. There’s a preset 15 different alert sounds, and you can even upload and use your own sounds as well.

Taking it one step further, you can even use a button that’s added to the TinyMCE (the editor area dashboard) that will allow you to easily program popups to display when your user hovers over text or clicks a link.

You can modify different features about your popups, from the way they look, to the way they show up on the screen. You can even add a title to these pop ups and add a close button as well.
